Teens @ The Point is an ongoing color portrait series of young people who utilize a variety of free art programs at the community development center known as THE POINT, in the South Bronx neighborhood where I grew up. Started in 2018 while assisting analog photo classes there in partnership with the International Center of Photography, this series aims to create a visual library of the current generation being threatened with up to 71% displacement due to gentrification, according to a Regional Planning Association study in 2017.
